FAITH

F.A.I.T.H

One morning, my husband quoted, “Faith is not about God can, but God will”.
This quote somehow lingered in my mind and this description struck my mind, during my morning walk.

F – Fully & Finally
A – As always
I - I achieve
T - Through
H – Him (God).

We expect the materials we purchase to be of superior quality. We verify the labels and examine the purity of it. The gold jewel we buy must have the 99.9% purity trademark. The clothes we buy should have the highest percentile of quality and warranty. The electronic gadgets must be 100% defect free. The movies we watch must be 100% worthy of the tickets we purchased. The hotels we dine, must offer 100% quality food and service. We expect our children to score centum every time.  The list is endless…
What about our Faith quotient?

We pray ardently to God with hope and trust but do we pray with 100% faith? We use our ever reasoning and judgmental mind to study the process of how will God make it happen.
The doctor’s prescription works best on the patient who truly believes in the doctor. Even the best medication cannot do wonders, if the person doubts the process of healing.
Same is the case with the universal Creator. He is ever ready to help us and heal us, but are we ready to surrender ourselves completely and fully? Even an iota of doubt, is like contaminating the ocean with a drop of poison. God does expect 100% Faith, for miracles to happen. Even 99.99% will not do.

In the Mahabharata epic, we all know how God Krishna saves Dhraupadi, when she was stripped off in the presence of entire kingdom. When she held her hands to her robe and cried for Krishna nothing happened. When she raised both her hands above her head in prayer and called out his name, the miracle happened.

Faith in God is the beginning of wisdom! How True.
So what is our Faith percentile? Are we ready for the magic to work?
